We promote equality of opportunity for people with physical and learning disabilities to take part in, and enjoy, sport and physical activity at the level of their choice. We are committed to ensuring that every disabled child and adult in Swindon has the opportunity to do so.

We do this by a offering a range of weekly activities, encouraging participation in local sports clubs and where necessary developing disability specific sports clubs as well as delivering disability events.

The Community Health & Well Being Team works closely with disability groups to develop needs-led services. This which has brought about a real change in the way that families of disabled children and young people can interact with leisure activities in Swindon.
